Willie's 2012 New Year's Resolution

Willie has a big dilemma today!  Willie cannot decide on his New Year's Resolution for 2012.  Willie is pondering eating more Fancy Feast or napping more.  Willie wonders if it is considered acceptable to have 2 resolutions this coming year?

Willie's Summer Health Care Tip

Willie is so excited that summer has officially arrived!  Willie thought this would be a good time to share some important information with you regarding heartworm disease in cats, which is a problem in the summer months. Heartworms are parasites that are transmitted to cats when bitten by a mosquito carrying the disease.  These parasites live in the heart and blood vessels in the lungs and can cause heart disease as well as respiratory disease over time.  Currently, there are no safe treatments for cats with heartworm disease. Heartworm disease is easily prevented in cats by giving your cat monthly heartworm prevention.  Willie suggests that all his FB friends discuss heartworm prevention optons for their feline family members with their regular veterinarian.

SAFE HAVEN Tuxedo Ball

Willie had a wonderful night out on the town with his friends from the Cat Clinic of Cary at SAFE Haven for Cats Tuxedo Ball last night.  Willie enjoyed the opportunity to dress up in his tuxedo and bow tie.  Willie enjoyed all the head rubs and kisses he received from all his new friends.  Willie can't wait until he can attend this event again next year.  Purrs and headbutts.
