Willie wishes everyone a Happy Groundhog Day...but wonders what if Punxsutawney Phil only had one eye like Willie? Look to one side, see no shadow...Look to the other side, see a shadow...Willie thinks he might have found himself a new career where he only sees his shadow half as often which should make his furriends much happier. Besides, Willie loves the thought of only having to work one day a year! Punxsutawney Will does have a nice ring to it!
Willie was so excited cuz he kept thinking they were saying "go Cats" but now realizes they were just saying "go Pats"...No cat teams merely makes it a bowl, not a superbowl, aka...meaningless!
Willie is planning a Fantasy Superbowl Party and all his furriends are invited. Willie is supplying his favorite delicious grilled beef and liver Fancy Feast to share. Willie wonders what all his furriends will bring?
UGH! Willie was looking forward to a calm relaxing weekend. Instead, Willie came home from work last night to his sick feline sister Jellie...Fever, not eating, and lethargic. Willie just thinks it is plain wrong for a kitty named after a delicious food condiment to not want to eat! Willie even tried sharing his special favorite Fancie Feast with Jellie. Willie is purraying that his sister Jellie feels better soon!
Willie heard that there is a cat named Smokey that lives in Pitsford, England who possibly has the loudest purr in the world! Willie read that Smokey purrs at an amazing 73 decibels, which is about 16 times louder than the purring of an average cat (and comparable to the volume of a lawn mower). Willie would rather wake up to the sound of Smokey purring than a rooster any day!
What a stressful week for Willie! Willie's feline sister Notmeg could not get her surgery this week because her leg developed a severe infection. Willie's canine sister Paddie was feeling poorly and had to have lots of tests done to try to figure out why. Willie's canine sister Lacie's insulin requirements have changed again. And Willie's feline sister See-error was supposed to get spayed but Willie's mom forgot to withhold her breakfast the day of her surgery. Willie is exhausted and appreciates this Furrsday off!
